Heavy-bodied coffee that has dark chocolate flavors and aromas with a low, slightly sweet acidity.
Produced by the
FECAFEB cooperative, which is made up of 30 farmer groups representing 8,700 families. Cultivated at elevations ranging between 3,600 and 4,500 feet, this coffee is washed, and sun-dried.
Café Campesino is proud to be one of the founding members of
Cooperative Coffees, a cooperative of independent roasters committed to Fair Trade as a long-term partnership between farmers and roasters. For us, paying a fair price is just the beginning of this relationship. Our trade model includes pre-financing, sharing information, and working together for higher quality coffee.
Transparency makes fairness possible because it makes hiding the truth impossible.
