Campesino Organic Coffee Co. — Georgia’s first and only 100% Fair Trade, Organic specialty coffee company — is on the hunt for a passionate, driven individual to join our team as a Coffee Roaster. This is a rare opportunity to learn the craft of small-batch specialty coffee roasting from the ground up, transforming green coffee beans sourced from farmer cooperatives around the world into roasted coffee our customers have trusted for over 26 years.
No prior roasting experience is required. We provide hands-on training and mentorship. What you do need to bring is a deep appreciation for great coffee and the hard-working farmers who grow it, positive energy, a can-do attitude, a hunger to learn, and a work ethic that jazzes everyone around you. What You’ll Do
- Roast exceptional coffee while monitoring quality at every step
- Manage green bean inventory, lot tracking, and online recordkeeping
- Maintain roasting equipment with proper documentation
- Ensure fire safety and food safety compliance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized roastery environment

Physical Requirements Include
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands/fingers
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 30 lbs frequently
- Close and distance visual acuity required, including the ability to operate motor vehicles/equipment
- Works indoors; subject to temperature changes and periodic high noise levels
