Medium Roast CoffeesFull City Roast CoffeesOur coffee roast styles were selected by our roast master to ensure that we get the most out of our truly exceptional, specialty-grade, green coffee beans... coffee beans that are fair trade and organic!
Our lightest roast style coffee. Our medium roasted coffee beans are light brown in color with a dry surface. Their flavor - both taste and aroma - is fully developed. Acidity* tends to be bright and the natural flavor characteristics of the green coffee beans are more easily discernible than if the beans had been roasted darker. Our medium roast is also known as an American, regular city, or brown roast.
*Note - The Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) explains acidity as follows: Acidity is not to be confused with the pH scale of scientific acidity; in this case, bright acidity refers to the refreshing, mouth-cleansing quality, a sparkling, lively taste that can help you wake up in the morning.
