A delicious fair trade, organic blend of Sumatra and Ethiopia Sidama coffees, this is Cafe Campesino's rendition of history's first known coffee blend and offers coffee lovers some a combination of some of the best flavor profiles available.
Coffee lore says that the first known blend was made by combining beans from Yemen, located on the Arabian peninsula, with ones grown on the Indonesian island of Java. Cafe Campesino's version uses beans widely accepted as modern-day equivalents. Ethiopia Sidama is used in place of beans from Yemen, whose port city Mocha, is less than 100 miles from the Horn of Africa where Ethiopia is located, and Sumatra is the closest neighboring island to Java.
This combination of Ethiopian and Sumatran coffees creates a sweet, silky-bodied coffee with bright, citrus acidities. Available in a variety of grind options
